An Accessible Website Is Better for Everyone
Accessibility is about making sure people can understand, navigate and interact with your website regardless of ability.
We Don't Just Find Accessibility Problems. We Help You Fix Them.
Automated accessibility tools are useful, but finding problems is only the beginning.
Reachpoint combines automated testing with manual review, helps correct accessibility barriers within the website itself, verifies the improvements and gives your team practical guidance for maintaining accessibility afterward.
What We Look For
Many accessibility barriers aren’t obvious when browsing a website visually with a mouse.
Our reviews may include:
Manual Testing
Automated scanning is only part of the process. Reachpoint also performs manual testing such as keyboard navigation, focus visibility, tab order, zoom, responsive reflow and form interaction.
Our Process
A Practical Accessibility Process
Our 5-step process helps identify accessibility barriers, correct issues within the website, verify the improvements and give your team practical guidance for maintaining accessibility over time.

We review the website using automated testing and manual accessibility checks.
You'll receive a report identifying the barriers we found, recommended remedies and the estimated scope of remediation.
If you choose to move forward, Reachpoint corrects accessibility issues within the areas of the website we control.
Whenever practical, we fix recurring problems at the template or component level so a single improvement can benefit multiple pages.
After remediation, corrected areas are rescanned and manually reviewed to confirm the improvements.
You'll receive a post-remediation summary along with practical guidance for maintaining accessibility as your website changes.

Why Accessibility Became Important to Us
It Hit Close to Home
Reachpoint had been aware of website accessibility and high-profile accessibility lawsuits, but the issue became much more immediate when a local Alameda business organization warned its members that small businesses in our own community were facing lawsuits involving inaccessible websites.
That prompted us to contact our own clients and extended network to explain what was happening and offer an affordable way to find out where their websites stood.
Several organizations accepted the offer, and many chose to remediate the accessibility barriers we identified.
Those projects helped shape the accessibility process Reachpoint uses today.
Small businesses shouldn’t have to wait for a complaint or lawsuit to start thinking about accessibility.

Approximately 100 published pages, posts and dynamic page patterns reviewed

An accessibility remediation project identified recurring issues involving:

Reachpoint corrected issues within the approved website scope, tested keyboard navigation and focus, reviewed zoom and responsive reflow, rescanned corrected areas, published an Accessibility Statement and documented remaining limitations.
The client also received written accessibility guides, a publishing checklist and a recorded instructional walkthrough.
Result
Accessibility barriers identified within the approved, directly controlled website scope were addressed, and the organization was given a process for helping maintain those improvements over time.

Accessibility Isn't a One-Time Checkbox

Not Sure How Accessible Your Website Is?
You don’t need to start with a large remediation project.
Start with an accessibility scan and we’ll help you understand where your website stands, what needs attention and what your next steps might be.
Questions About Website Accessibility
Website accessibility can involve federal, state and industry-specific requirements. Organizations operating in California may also face additional state-level considerations.
Reachpoint evaluates technical website accessibility but does not provide legal advice. Questions about your organization’s specific legal obligations should be directed to qualified legal counsel.
WCAG stands for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
These guidelines provide a technical framework for making websites and digital content more accessible to people with disabilities.
Reachpoint uses WCAG as a framework when assessing and remediating websites.
No automated tool can evaluate every accessibility issue.
Automated testing is useful for identifying many common problems, but manual review is also important.
That’s why Reachpoint uses both.
No.
Reachpoint provides technical accessibility assessment and remediation services, not legal certification.
Accessibility is also an ongoing process. New content, third-party systems and website changes can introduce new barriers after remediation.
Websites often rely on outside systems such as forms, calendars, booking tools, payment systems and embedded applications.
Reachpoint can identify accessibility concerns involving those systems and correct surrounding website issues when possible, but the internal accessibility of third-party platforms is controlled by their providers.
PDFs and downloadable documents are part of the overall digital experience.
Reachpoint can identify document-related accessibility concerns and help determine whether a document should be remediated, replaced or presented another way.
We can provide written guidance, publishing checklists, recorded walkthroughs and other practical training so your staff understands how to help maintain accessibility going forward.
